Alex answers his own phone
Twenty years in construction, in the electrical and tile trades since 2006, and a two-person team that does service work properly.
Premier Service Pros is a small, family-run contractor based in Kirkland, Washington, working across Seattle, Bellevue, the Eastside and north to Snohomish County — with Seattle and Bellevue as the two biggest markets.
Alex Gorbatenko has been in construction for twenty years and in the electrical and custom tile trades since 2006, trained through the JATC apprenticeship program before going out on his own. That combination is unusual, and it is why the service list looks the way it does: someone books an electrical fault, mentions the six other things nobody has got round to, and finds out they do not need to call anyone else.
It is a two-person core team with a dedicated painting crew alongside it. Small enough that you deal with Alex directly, big enough to take on a whole-house list without it dragging on for a month.
The business has been running five years — it started as Premier Handyman Services and the name changed to Premier Service Pros as the electrical side became the centre of the work. Same crew, same number, same customers.
Top Pro on Thumbtack in 2023, 2024 and 2025, hired 154 times, and background checked. Customers rate the work quality, professionalism and responsiveness.
A fault gets traced to a cause and explained to you. Swapping components until the symptom stops is not troubleshooting, and you pay for it twice.
Alex is a bonded and insured general contractor who has been in the tile and electrical trades since 2006, trained through the JATC apprenticeship program.
Electrical, cameras, CAT6, repairs, painting and tinting from the same team — so you are not project-managing four contractors around one house.

Alex responded, scheduled estimate, and did the job same day! He's very knowledgeable and nice. Worked around some issues for installing ethernet and got a great finished product
Alex, did a great job installing 4 more outlets. Then, he tested all of our older outlets to verify they worked and suggested installing GFCI outlets in the kitchen and bathrooms to make them safer. He was very fast on his responses and was able to start the project the next day.
He managed to perform a quality hack repair to my old gas cooktop to give another year or to its lifetime. I do appreciate his proactive and creative thinking to find a solution for me as a customer. He also took care of the electrical issue with the outdoor lights and switch connection for them.
The onsite technician, Alex, noticed one of the wires was frayed and he was able to resolve the issue with a permanent fix! They put a lot of pride into their work and we now have one happy customer. Would HIGHLY recommend them!
What we are and what we are not
We are a service company. The bread and butter is diagnosing a fault, fixing a thing that broke, installing what you have bought, and clearing the repair list — for homes and for commercial sites alike.
We are not a franchise with a call centre and a dispatch algorithm. There is no membership plan to decline and nobody working a commission sheet in your hallway. And we do not pretend to be everything: there is no gas work here, and remodels and general contracting are an add-on we take on as needed, not the thing we lead with.
If a job is outside what we should be touching, we will say so and point you at who to call. That is cheaper for everyone than finding out later.

Common questions
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Kirkland and work across Seattle, Bellevue, the Eastside and north to Snohomish County — 40 cities in all. Seattle and Bellevue are our two biggest markets.
How do I get hold of you?
Text or call. That is genuinely the fastest route — Alex answers his own phone. We can take an email address if you would rather we wrote to you, just ask.
Do you do service work or full projects?
Service work is what we do, residential and commercial. Remodels and general contracting are available as an add-on when a job turns out to be bigger than it looked, but they are not what we lead with.
How do you price a job?
Mostly by bid. We can give you a close bid over the phone, from photos or on a video call, and we come out to look at anything of size. There is a minimum call-out for coming to a job unless you have already been given a bid.
Are you insured?
Bonded and insured, and Alex is background checked through Thumbtack. Ask and we will send the details across.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes, and they are best batched. Most of the cost of a very small job is getting someone to your door, so a list of five things costs far less than five separate visits.
Do you work with landlords and property managers?
Regularly — turnovers, make-readies and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio are a normal part of the work.
Do you do gas work?
No. Minor plumbing and electric appliance hookups yes, gas no — for that you want a licensed gas fitter.
